Who Am I?

Name Date

Read the Story

David lived in a cedar house, but God's ark was in a tent. Nathan the prophet told David to do all that was in his heart. But that night God spoke to Nathan.

God said David would not build the house. God had taken David from following the sheep to be prince over Israel. God said he would build David a house, a family that would last.

One of David's sons would build God's house. God would set up his throne forever. David sat before Yahweh and asked, Who am I? He thanked God and said there is no one like him.

Memory Verse

Then David the king went in and sat before Yahweh; and he said, “Who am I, Yahweh God, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?
