Read the Story

God told his people to rejoice greatly! Shout for joy! Your King is coming. He is good and fair. He is gentle.

The King rides on a donkey. He does not come with horses for war. He brings peace to the nations. God said his people have hope. How great is God's goodness! In the New Testament, Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem.
