Zechariah 5 · Grade 3
Wickedness Carried Away
Read the Story
Zechariah lifted up his eyes and saw a flying scroll. It was twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide. The angel said it is the curse that goes out over the whole land. It goes against everyone who steals and everyone who swears falsely.
Then the angel told Zechariah to lift up his eyes. Zechariah saw an ephah basket. Inside sat a woman. The angel said, this is Wickedness. He put a lead cover over the basket.
Two women came with wind in their wings, like a stork. They lifted the basket up. The angel said they were taking it to build her a house in the land of Shinar.
