Zechariah 3 · Grade 3
Take Off the Filthy Clothes
Read the Story
Zechariah saw Joshua the high priest standing before Yahweh's angel. Satan was there to accuse him. But Yahweh said, Yahweh rebuke you, Satan!
Joshua was clothed with filthy garments. The angel said, take the filthy garments off him. He said to Joshua, behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich clothing. They set a clean turban on his head.
God told Joshua to walk in his ways. God said he would bring his servant, the Branch. God said that in that day, people would invite their neighbors to sit under the vine and the fig tree.
Memory Verse
“He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, “Take the filthy garments off him.” To him he said, “Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich clothing.””
