Zechariah 2 · Grade 3
Sing and Rejoice
Read the Story
Zechariah saw a man with a measuring line in his hand. The man said he was going to measure Jerusalem. An angel said Jerusalem will be like villages without walls, because so many people and animals will live there.
God said he would be a wall of fire around the city and the glory in the middle of her. God called his people to come home from far away.
God said, sing and rejoice, daughter of Zion! For behold, I come and I will dwell within you. God said many nations would join themselves to Yahweh in that day and be his people. Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh.
Memory Verse
“For I,’ says Yahweh, ‘will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her.”
