Song of Solomon 4 · Grade 2
A Garden and a Well
Read the Story
The groom sings a song. He uses pictures of plants and water. He says his bride is like a safe garden.
He speaks of a fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, flowing streams from Lebanon. Living water is fresh. It flows.
In the New Testament, Jesus says His water will be a well of water springing up to eternal life (John 4:14).
Memory Verse
“My sister, my bride, is a locked up garden; a locked up spring, a sealed fountain.”
