Psalms 84 · Grade 3
A Day in Your Courts
Read the Story
The title of Psalm 84 calls it a Psalm by the sons of Korah. How lovely are your dwellings, Yahweh of Armies! My soul longs for the courts of Yahweh. Even the sparrow has found a home near your altars.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house. Blessed are those whose strength is in you. Passing through the valley of Weeping, they make it a place of springs. They go from strength to strength.
For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God. For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.
Memory Verse
“For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.”
