Psalms 81 · Grade 3
Oh That My People Would Listen
Read the Story
The title of Psalm 81 says it is by Asaph. Sing aloud to God, our strength! Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine. Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.
God speaks. I removed his shoulder from the burden. You called in trouble, and I delivered you. I am Yahweh, your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
But my people didn't listen to my voice. God still says, Oh that my people would listen to me! He would feed them with the finest of the wheat, and honey out of the rock.
Memory Verse
“Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!”
