Psalms 76 · Grade 3
Glorious and Awesome
Read the Story
The title of Psalm 76 calls it a Psalm by Asaph. In Judah, God is known. His name is great in Israel. His tent is in Salem, and his dwelling place in Zion.
There he broke the flaming arrows, the shield, the sword and the weapons of war. Glorious are you, and excellent. The brave soldiers fell asleep and could not lift their hands.
God arose to judgment, to save all the afflicted ones of the earth. The psalm says, Make vows to Yahweh your God, and fulfill them. Let everyone bring presents to him.
Memory Verse
“Glorious are you, and excellent, more than mountains of game.”
