Psalms 75 · Grade 3
God Puts Down and Lifts Up
Read the Story
The title of Psalm 75 calls it a Psalm by Asaph. It begins, We give thanks to you, God. We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works.
God speaks. When I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly. He tells the proud, Don't boast! He tells the wicked, Don't lift up your horn so high.
Lifting up does not come from the east or the west or the south. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another. Asaph ends, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
Memory Verse
