Psalms 71 · Grade 3
I Will Always Hope
Read the Story
Psalm 71 has no title. The singer says, In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. You are my rock and my fortress. You are my hope, Lord Yahweh, my confidence from my youth.
Now the singer is getting old. He prays, Don't reject me in my old age. Don't forsake me when my strength fails. His enemies say that God has forsaken him. But he says, I will always hope.
He wants to tell about God's strength to the next generation. He will praise God with the harp. My lips shall shout for joy! He will talk about God's righteousness all day long.
Memory Verse
“But I will always hope, and will add to all of your praise.”
