Psalms 70 · Grade 3
You Are My Help
Read the Story
The title of Psalm 70 says it is by David. The title calls it a reminder. It is short and urgent. Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, Yahweh.
David asks God to turn back those who want to hurt him. He asks God to make glad all those who seek him. Let those who love your salvation say, Let God be exalted!
David ends honestly. But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God. You are my help and my deliverer. Yahweh, don't delay.
Memory Verse
“Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, “Let God be exalted!””
