Psalms 68 · Grade 3
God Sets the Lonely in Families
Read the Story
The title of Psalm 68 calls it a Psalm and song by David. It says, Sing to God! Sing praises to his name! He rides on the clouds. Let the righteous be glad.
God is a father of the fatherless and a defender of the widows. God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing. God went before his people in the wilderness and sent a plentiful rain.
God's people came to his sanctuary with singers and tambourines. Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens. The psalm ends, Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth! The God of Israel gives strength and power to his people.
