Psalms 65 · Grade 3
The Hills Are Glad
Read the Story
The title of Psalm 65 calls it a Psalm by David and a song. It says, Praise waits for you, God, in Zion. God hears prayer. When sins were too much, God forgave them.
God is strong. By his power he forms the mountains. He stills the roaring of the seas. People far away are amazed at his wonders.
God visits the earth and waters it. The river of God is full of water. He softens the ground with showers and blesses it with a crop. He crowns the year with his bounty. The hills are clothed with gladness. The valleys are clothed with grain.
Memory Verse
“You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance.”
