Psalms 64 · Grade 3
Words Like Swords
Read the Story
The title of Psalm 64 calls it a Psalm by David. He prayed, Hear my voice, God. Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked. Some people sharpened their tongues like a sword. Their words were like arrows.
They made secret plans. They said, Who will see them? They thought they had a perfect plan. But God saw everything.
Their own tongues ruined them. Everyone saw what God did. The righteous were glad in Yahweh. They took refuge in him and praised him.
Memory Verse
“The righteous shall be glad in Yahweh, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him!”
