Psalms 55 · Grade 2
Give God Your Burden
Read the Story
David was sad. A friend had hurt him. David wished he had wings like a dove. Then he would fly away and rest.
But David prayed to God. He prayed in the evening. He prayed in the morning and at noon. God heard him. David told us to give our burden to God. He will hold us up.
Memory Verse
“Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.”
