Psalms 54 · Grade 3
Save Me by Your Name
Read the Story
The title says the Ziphites came to Saul. They said, Isn't David hiding himself among us? Now David was in danger. So he prayed. Save me, God, by your name. Hear my prayer.
Strangers had risen up against David. They did not set God before them. But David said, Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.
David promised to bring a free will offering. He said, I will give thanks to your name, Yahweh, for it is good. God had delivered him out of all trouble.
