Psalms 4 · Grade 2

Peace at Night

Name Date

Read the Story

The title says this is a Psalm by David. David prays, Answer me when I call. He asks God to hear his prayer. He knows Yahweh will hear when he calls.

David tells people to put their trust in Yahweh. He asks God to let the light of his face shine on them. God put gladness in David's heart. It was more than the joy of a big harvest. At night David lies down in peace. He sleeps, for Yahweh makes him live in safety.

Memory Verse

“In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety.”

Psalms 4:8 (WEB)
