Psalms 38 · Grade 3
All My Desire Is Before You
Read the Story
The title says this is A Psalm by David, for a memorial. David says, For my iniquities have gone over my head. As a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me. He is in pain and goes mourning all day long. My lovers and my friends stand aloof. My kinsmen stand far away.
But David says, Lord, all my desire is before you. My groaning is not hidden from you. For I hope in you, Yahweh. You will answer, Lord my God. For I will declare my iniquity. I will be sorry for my sin. Don't forsake me, Yahweh. Hurry to help me, Lord, my salvation.
