Psalms 32 · Grade 3
I Will Confess
Read the Story
The title says this is By David, a contemplative psalm. Blessed is he whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is covered. When David kept silence, he groaned all day long. Day and night God's hand was heavy on him.
Then David says, I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn't hide my iniquity. He confessed, and God forgave the iniquity of his sin. You are my hiding place, David says. God promises, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. Loving kindness shall surround him who trusts in Yahweh.
Memory Verse
“I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.”
