Psalms 3 · Grade 2
God Is a Shield
Read the Story
The title says this is a Psalm by David, when he fled from Absalom his son. Many people were against David. Some said God would not help him.
But David trusted God. He said Yahweh is a shield around him. He cried to Yahweh, and God answered him. David lay down and slept. He woke up again, for Yahweh kept him. He would not be afraid. Salvation belongs to Yahweh.
Memory Verse
“But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.”
