My Rock and My Fortress

Name Date

Read the Story

The title says David spoke this song to Yahweh in the day that Yahweh delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. David begins, I love you, Yahweh, my strength. Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.

In his distress David called on Yahweh. God heard his voice out of his temple. The earth shook. God came down and drew David out of many waters. David says, You will light my lamp, Yahweh. As for God, his way is perfect. He makes my feet like deer's feet. Yahweh lives! Blessed be my rock.

Memory Verse

“Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.”
