Psalms 147 · Grade 3

Healer of Hearts, Counter of Stars

Name Date

Read the Story

Psalm 147 begins, Praise Yah, for it is good to sing praises to our God. Yahweh builds up Jerusalem. He gathers the outcasts of Israel.

He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names. Great is our Lord!

God covers the sky with clouds and sends rain. He feeds the young ravens when they call. He gives snow like wool. Yahweh takes pleasure in those who hope in his loving kindness.
