Psalms 146 · Grade 3
The God Who Helps
Read the Story
Psalm 146 begins, Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh, my soul. While I live, I will praise Yahweh.
Don't put your trust in princes. Human leaders die, and their plans end with them. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help.
God made heaven and earth and keeps truth forever. He gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners. Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. He upholds the fatherless and widow. Yahweh will reign forever.
Memory Verse
“Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.”
Psalms 146:8 (WEB)
