Psalms 141 · Grade 3
A Guard for My Mouth
Read the Story
Psalm 141 is titled A Psalm by David. Yahweh, I have called on you. Come to me quickly! Let my prayer be set before you like incense.
David prays, Set a watch, Yahweh, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips. Don't incline my heart to any evil thing.
He says that if a righteous person corrects him, it is kindness, like oil on the head. For my eyes are on you, Yahweh. I take refuge in you.
