Psalms 140 · Grade 3
The Strength of My Salvation
Read the Story
Psalm 140 is titled For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. David prays, Deliver me, Yahweh, from evil men. Preserve me from violent men.
These people spoke cruel words and set traps for him. David said to Yahweh, You are my God. Listen to the cry of my petitions.
He called God the strength of my salvation. God had covered his head in the day of battle. David knew that Yahweh will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the needy.
Memory Verse
“Yahweh, the Lord, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of battle.”
