Psalms 131 · Grade 2

Resting in God

Name Date

Read the Story

Psalm 131 is short. Its title calls it A Song of Ascents by David. David says he is not proud. He does not try to know everything.

He is calm and quiet, like a little child resting with his mother. The child does not fuss. He just rests. David trusts God like that. He tells everyone to hope in God.

Memory Verse

“Israel, hope in Yahweh, from this time forward and forever more.”
