Psalms 13 · Grade 3
But I Trust
Read the Story
The title says this psalm is for the Chief Musician and is a Psalm by David. David asks four times, How long? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? He has sorrow in his heart every day, and his enemy seems to be winning.
David prays, Behold, and answer me, Yahweh, my God. Give light to my eyes. Then the psalm turns with the word but. But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to Yahweh, because he has been good to me.
Memory Verse
“But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.”
