Psalms 125 · Grade 2
Strong and Safe
Read the Story
Psalm 125 is a Song of Ascents. It says people who trust in Yahweh are like Mount Zion. A mountain cannot be moved.
Mountains go all around the city of Jerusalem. In the same way, Yahweh is all around his people. He keeps them safe forever. The singer asks God to do good to good people. He prays for peace.
Memory Verse
“As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.”
