Psalm 118 says, give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good. His love lasts forever.

The singer was in trouble. Enemies were all around him. He called to God, and God answered. He said, Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. It is better to trust in Yahweh than in people. Then the singer said, This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!
