When God's People Left Egypt

Name Date

Read the Story

Psalm 114 is a short poem about the time Israel left Egypt. God led his people out.

The poem says the sea saw them and ran away. The Jordan River turned back. The mountains skipped like rams. The little hills skipped like lambs. Why? Because God was there! God turned a rock into a pool of water.

Memory Verse

“The sea saw it, and fled. The Jordan was driven back.”
