Psalms 112 · Grade 3
Not Afraid of Bad News
Read the Story
Psalm 112 has no title. It begins, Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh. He delights greatly in his commandments.
Light dawns in the darkness for the upright. They are gracious, merciful, and righteous. It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He gives to the poor. The righteous will be remembered forever.
This man will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh. Bad news can still come. But his heart stays firm because he trusts God.
Memory Verse
