When People Are Unkind
Read the Story
The title of Psalm 109 calls it A Psalm by David. Some people were very unkind to David. They told lies about him. David loved them, but they hated him back.
David did not fight back. He said he would pray. He asked Yahweh to help him because God's love is good. David knew God would stand close to people who need help. So David said he would thank Yahweh and praise him.
Memory Verse
“I will give great thanks to Yahweh with my mouth. Yes, I will praise him among the multitude.”
