Psalms 105 · Grade 3
God Keeps His Promise
Read the Story
Psalm 105 has no title. It begins with a call to give thanks to Yahweh and make his deeds known among the peoples. It asks us to remember his marvelous works.
God remembered his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He promised them the land of Canaan. When a famine came, God sent Joseph ahead. Joseph was sold as a slave, but the king set him free and made him a ruler.
Later God sent Moses and Aaron. They did wonders in Egypt. Then God brought his people out with silver and gold. He gave them quail and bread from the sky. He opened the rock, and water gushed out.
