Psalms 103 · Grade 4
Praise Yahweh, My Soul
Read and Think
Psalm 103 is titled By David. He begins by speaking to his own soul: Praise Yahweh, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name! He reminds himself not to forget all of God's benefits.
God forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from destruction and crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies. Yahweh made known his ways to Moses. He is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.
He has not dealt with us according to our sins. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his loving kindness. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Our days are like grass, but Yahweh's loving kindness lasts from everlasting to everlasting. The psalm ends by calling angels and all God's works to praise him.
