All His Benefits

Read the Story

Psalm 103 is titled By David. It begins with David speaking to himself. He says, praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits.

Then he lists them. God forgives all your sins and heals your diseases. He redeems your life and crowns you with loving kindness. He fills you with good things.

Yahweh is merciful and gracious and slow to anger. He does not treat us as our sins deserve. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Our days are short like grass, but his loving kindness lasts forever.

Memory Verse

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”
