Psalms 102 · Grade 2
A Sad Prayer
Read the Story
Psalm 102 is a prayer of someone who is sad and very tired. He asks Yahweh to hear his prayer. He asks God to answer quickly.
He feels like a sparrow alone on a housetop. His days feel like grass that dries up. But then he remembers that Yahweh will remain forever. God made the earth and the sky. They will wear out, but God stays the same.
Memory Verse
“But you, Yahweh, will remain forever; your renown endures to all generations.”
