Proverbs 8 · Grade 3
Better Than Rubies
Read the Story
Doesn't wisdom cry out? Wisdom stands beside the gates, at the entry of the city. She calls out to everyone. She says, For my mouth speaks truth.
She says, Receive my instruction rather than silver. For wisdom is better than rubies. The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil. I love those who love me. Those who seek me diligently will find me.
Wisdom says she was there when God made the world. When he established the heavens, I was there. She was always rejoicing before Him. For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh.
Memory Verse
“I love those who love me. Those who seek me diligently will find me.”
