Guard My Teaching

Name Date

Read the Story

My son, keep my words. Lay up my commandments within you. Keep my commandments and live! Guard my teaching as the apple of your eye.

Bind them on your fingers. Write them on the tablet of your heart. Tell wisdom, You are my sister. Wisdom should be as close to us as family.

The father tells a story about a young man who did not have understanding. He listened to words that tricked him, and he made a bad choice. The father says, Now therefore, sons, listen to me. Don't let your heart turn to wrong ways.
