Proverbs 7 · Grade 2
Like the Apple of Your Eye
Read the Story
A father says, My son, keep my words. He tells his son to keep God's commands and live.
He says to guard them like the apple of your eye. The apple of your eye is the middle of your eye. You protect your eye very carefully!
He says to tie them on your fingers and write them on your heart. Then they will help you do what is right.
Memory Verse
“Keep my commandments and live! Guard my teaching as the apple of your eye.”
