Consider the Ant

Name Date

Read the Story

Go to the ant, you sluggard. Consider her ways, and be wise. The ant has no chief or ruler. Still, she provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.

The lazy person says, A little sleep, a little slumber. Proverbs warns that too much laziness leads to being poor.

There are six things which Yahweh hates. Some of them are arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, and he who sows discord among brothers. The father says, For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is light.
