Learn from the Ant

Name Date

Read the Story

Proverbs says, Go to the ant, you sluggard. A sluggard is a lazy person. Look at the ant and learn to be wise!

No one has to tell the ant what to do. She gathers her food in the harvest. She gets ready for later.

Proverbs says that God hates a lying tongue. It also says God's commandment is like a lamp. It shows us the right way to go.

Memory Verse

“My son, keep your father’s commandment, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching.”

Proverbs 6:20 (WEB)
