Proverbs 31 · Grade 3
A Mother's Wisdom
Read the Story
The words of King Lemuel—the revelation which his mother taught him. She told him to open his mouth for the mute. She meant he should speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves.
Who can find a worthy woman? For her value is far above rubies. She works eagerly with her hands. She opens her arms to the poor. She opens her mouth with wisdom. Kind instruction is on her tongue.
Her children rise up and call her blessed. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised.
Memory Verse
“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised.”
