Proverbs 13 · Grade 3
Friends Matter
Read the Story
A wise son listens to his father's instruction, but a scoffer doesn't listen to rebuke. He who guards his mouth guards his soul.
Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is with people who take advice. Proud people fight because they think they are always right.
Our friends shape us. One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. Choose friends who love God and do what is right.
Memory Verse
“One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.”
