Integrity and Generosity
Read and Think
In Bible times, buyers and sellers weighed goods on a balance. A cheater could use a false weight. A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. God cares about honesty in everyday business. The integrity of the upright shall guide them.
Humility and trust are part of wisdom. When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom. One who brings gossip betrays a confidence. Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory.
Generosity is a theme too. There is one who scatters, and increases yet more. The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself. Generous people are blessed. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. He who is wise wins souls.
