Honest Weights

Name Date

Read the Story

Long ago, people used a balance to weigh things they sold. Proverbs says accurate weights are God's delight. God wants us to be honest.

When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom. One who brings gossip betrays a confidence, but one who is of a trustworthy spirit is one who keeps a secret.

Proverbs says it is good to give. He who waters shall be watered also himself. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life.

Memory Verse

“The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself.”
