Six Safe Cities

Name Date

Read the Story

God gave the Levites cities to live in. There were forty-eight cities. Six of them were special. They were safe cities.

Sometimes a person hurt someone by accident. They did not mean to do it. That person could run to a safe city. There, no one could harm them.

The leaders would listen and judge fairly. God cares about what is fair and right. Jesus is like a safe city for us. We can run to Him.

Memory Verse

“The cities which you shall give shall be for you six cities of refuge.”
