Numbers 34 · Grade 3
The Land of Canaan
Read the Story
God told Moses the borders of the land of Canaan. This was the land that would be Israel's inheritance.
The south border ran by the wilderness of Zin. The west border was the great sea. The north border went toward Mount Hor in the north. The east border went down the Jordan to the Salt Sea.
Reuben, Gad, and half of Manasseh had their land east of the Jordan already. God chose Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun to divide the land. He also chose one prince from each tribe to help.
Memory Verse
“These are they whom Yahweh commanded to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.”
