The Journeys of Israel
Read the Story
These are the journeys of the children of Israel when they went out of Egypt. Moses wrote their starting points by the commandment of Yahweh.
They left Rameses on the day after the Passover, while Egypt was burying its firstborn. They passed through the sea. At Elim there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees. Later they camped in the wilderness of Sinai.
Aaron the priest went up Mount Hor and died there. He was one hundred twenty-three years old. At last they camped in the plains of Moab. God told them to destroy the idols of the land and to take the land He had given them.
Memory Verse
“You shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for I have given the land to you to possess it.”
