Counting Again

Name Date

Read the Story

Forty years had passed. God told Moses to count the people again. The children had grown up! They were now the new grown-ups.

Every tribe was counted. God said, Each tribe will get land. Big tribes will get more land. Small tribes will get less.

Only two men from the first count were still alive. They were Caleb and Joshua! They had trusted God. God kept His promise to them and to the children.

Memory Verse

“Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot. According to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.”
